How To Restore Your CompanionLink License After a Recent Windows 10 Update Removed Your License Info

A Microsoft Windows update recently published causes some licensed copies of CompanionLink to lose their license info. The result is that CompanionLink will open as an expired evaluation and prompt you to register or buy the software.

NOTE: This problem only appears to mostly affect systems running Windows 10.

To fix the issue, follow the instructions below to re-verify your registration, which will instantly restore your license.

There is no charge for this.

1. Click the expired evaluation message.
