GoldMine 2014.2 requires GoldMine Mobile to be uninstalled and reinstalled.

With the release of GoldMine Premium Edition 2014.2 we are introduced to the new GoldMine Web feature. This feature allows you to view/access your GoldMine data in a web browser using a desktop, laptop, or tablet device. This new feature is available at no cost to GoldMine customers current on their Annual Maintenance.

Customers who already own or are thinking about purchasing GoldMine Mobile, which allows users to view/access their GoldMine data using a smartphone/mobile device, would need to uninstall and reinstall GoldMine Mobile as part of the upgrade to GoldMine Premium Edition 2014.2. It is for this reason that we are encouraging any one interested in purchasing GoldMine Mobile to ensure that they are on GoldMine Premium Edition 2014.2 before doing so.  GoldMine Mobile can be installed (for a fee) and used in trial mode for 60 days before a license is required.  This allows customers to use the product in their own environment before committing to the purchase of a license(s). Many customers have expressed interest in this “Trial Mode”, who are not on GoldMine Premium Edition 2014.2 and if these customers are also considering an upgrade in the near future, it would be advisable to hold off on the “Trial Mode” install of GoldMine Mobile until they are on GoldMine 2014.2 to avoid having to pay for the uninstall and reinstall during the upgrade to GoldMine 2014.2.
